The Geography Café is founded by Mr Eric Goh who has been an MOE teacher more than 10 years with 15 years of Teaching Experience. His has accumulated vast knowledge and experience in teaching all Subject Topics of Geography forH2 and H1, O Level geography tuition Singapore & N level Geography, IB and IP as he know their content at his fingertips.
Mr Goh is also the author of GCE O Level geography tuition Singapore Ten Years Series for the past 3 consecutive years.
Subject Content
H1 Geography Topics (8813)
Theme 1 – Climate Change & Flooding
• This theme explores physical processes in the tropics and analyse the relationship between human activities and the environment with reference to the effects of climate change.
Theme 2 – Urban Change
• This theme examines the environmental impact of cities and the unevenness of development including the contradictions between achieving inter-generational equity and meeting present needs.
Theme 3 – Geographical Investigation
• With guidance Mr Goh, students will identify a suitable geographical question or hypothesis to carry out an investigation. This could be completed individually or in small groups. Students should devise research questions or hypothesis and follow through the investigation the following areas:
o Living with Rivers
o Urban Living Today
H2 Geography Topics (9751)
Theme 1: Tropical Environments
• This theme explores the physical processes that combine to shape different landscapes in the humid and arid tropics. Current issues in the tropics like deforestation and flooding are also examined.
Theme 2: Development, Economy & the Environment
• This theme explores the reciprocal relationships between human development and natural resource use. Focus is on analysing the global space-economy and resource management approaches.
Theme 3: Sustainable Development
• This theme enables students to apply physical and human geography knowledge to analyse how recent climate change and rapid urbanisation implicate our pursuit of sustainable development.
Theme 4: Geographical Investigation
• With guidance from Mr Goh, students will identify a suitable O Level geography tuition Singapore question or hypothesis to carry out an investigation. This could be completed individually or in small groups. Students should devise research questions or hypothesis and follow through the investigation the following areas:
o Living with Rivers
o People and the Economy
o Urban Living Today

H1 Geography (8813)
Paper 1 (100%) – 3 hour paper
• Section A: Data Response Questions based on stimulus materials (Theme 3)
• Section B: Data Response Questions (Theme 1 or Theme 2)
• Section B: 2 Structured Essay Questions (One question each from Theme 1 and Theme 2)
H2 Geography (9751)
Paper 1: Structured Essay Question – 3 hour paper
• One question each from Theme 1, Theme 2 and Theme 3
Paper 2: Data Response Questions – 3 hour paper
• One question each from Theme 1, Theme 2, Theme 3 and Theme 4
